Browsing the site
We do not run analytics or advertising scripts on this site at this time, and we do not set our own tracking cookies. Our servers log standard, routine web-server request data (such as IP address and page requested) only as far as any web server normally does, for security and operational purposes — we don't build profiles from it.
What we store in your browser (localStorage)
The Explorer lets you save favorite concepts and persists a few filter preferences. This is saved using your browser's localStorage, not a cookie, and it never leaves your device — it is not sent to us or to any third party, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it. See our Cookie Policy for more on the distinction between localStorage and cookies.
The contact form
Our Contact form is relayed by FormSubmit, a third-party email-forwarding service, so that your message reaches [email protected] without us operating our own mail server. When you submit the form, the name, email address, and message you type are sent to FormSubmit's service in order to deliver your email to us; we don't control FormSubmit's own data-handling practices beyond that delivery. If you'd rather not use the form, email us directly at the address above.
What we never collect
- We don't ask for or store payment information — this site has no products to purchase.
- We don't sell or share any data with advertisers.
- We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
- Clear your browser's site data at any time to remove your saved favorites and filter preferences.
- Use the mailto address instead of the form if you prefer not to go through a third-party relay.
- Contact us at [email protected] with any privacy question, including requests to know what information we hold about you from a message you sent us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be reflected on our Corrections log where relevant.
