localStorage is not a cookie — but here's how it works

The Explorer's favorites feature and a few filter preferences are saved using your browser's localStorage. Unlike a cookie, this data is never transmitted to our servers or anyone else's — it lives only in your browser, on your device, until you clear your browser's site data or use a private/incognito window. We describe this in more detail in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party technologies

Our contact form is processed by FormSubmit, a third-party service, so that submitting the form can briefly involve FormSubmit's own domain and whatever cookies or safeguards (such as spam protection) it uses on its side. We don't control that service's cookie behavior; it only comes into play if you actually submit the contact form.

If this changes

If we ever introduce analytics or advertising that requires cookies, we will update this page first and add the appropriate consent controls before doing so — no silent changes.
